Flawless Spaces has completed their very first One Room Challenge (ORC). This challenge is a celebration of creativity, inspiration and originality. More than 5,800 rooms have been transformed through this challenge and we are beyond excited to have had the opportunity to add one more room to that number!
MOOD BOARD
“How you want to feel when you walk into a space is the most important part of the design”
When it comes to creating the most top tier mood board you must first name the project . We decided to go with “Champagne Toast '' because the first thing the client said was “I want to walk into my room after a long day and be able to sit down and have a glass of bubbly”. Immediately our eyes were directed to her existing Pulaski bed set which is a vintage glam set trimmed in a champagne color wooden rope and mosaic glass.
Custom Art
“Art should tell a story & exude how that person wants to feel when they look at it”- Donald Hensley
Donald Hensley has been creating custom artwork for over 50+ years. This one of a kind painting is 36x60 and has a very vast amount of texture. The client absolutely loved the painting. She stated it made her feel “relaxed, but curious”. It's definitely a subtle staple piece for the room.
The Details
“The details are not the details, they make the design”- Charles Eames
Bringing out the vintage side of glam was the most fun part. It was all in the details from the victorian style picture frame to the eight foot gold and champagne floor to ceiling mirror. One of my favorite details is how the trim on the furniture compliments the champagne sconces. #VintageGlam
